I’m really happy to show you my new sewing space today. After years sewing in a little corner of my bedroom, I´m really happy to finally be able to share an office space with my boyfriend. One side belongs to him and his home office and the other side is my new sewing space.
I love to have my sewing machines ready to sew on my desk, but to keep the room tidy I store all my sewing and craft gadgets in drawers and cupboards, with closed doors, so nobody can see the mess behind.
Before moving to our new apartment I stored fabrics and sewing gadgets in drawers under the bed. But with my growing fabric stash, after designing also Elvelyckan Design fabrics myself, the space didn’t work anymore.
In my new wardrobe I can organize sewing gadgets in little boxes, and fabrics sorted by patterns and single coloured in the drawers. I even have a space where I can store started sewing projects and of course all my sewing patterns.
I love to store all my sewing gadgets away and decorate instead with a lot of plants, but you can still see that’s a sewing space on the first sight. I really love how it turned out and the most important thing, I´m feeling inspired and hope to spend a lot of time there.
